More Star Trek: Of Gods And Men coming … whether you like it or not
It’s probably an understatement to say that most Star Trek fans found Act One of director Tim Russ’ Star Trek: Of Gods and Men pretty underwhelming. Still, the Web flick is a fun fix for Trek fans, especially since the cast features many actors who’ve appeared in previous Star Trek series and films.
- For those of you who have seen the thing and, for whatever reason, want more, Renegade Studios just announced that Act Two of Star Trek: Of Gods and Men will be available for viewing here on March 15 at 5:01 p.m. (very specific).
- The film features Nichelle Nichols (Uhura from the original series/movies), Walter Koenig (Chekov), Alan “Cameron” Ruck (Captain Harrington from Generations), Garret Wang and Ethan Phillips from Voyager, Cirroc Lofton and JG Hertzler from DS9 and others including director Russ (Voyager’s Tuvok). The baffling plot of this three-part misadventure involves The Guardian (from the classic original series ep “City on the Edge of Forever”) screwing with the universe’s timeline to create a new reality where everything is run by sadistic space jerks with bad hair and sparkly uniforms. Really. I’m serious. It’s actually a lot of fun. Check out the trailer here.
